How do you overcome bottleneck in your teaching career

MARKETTING STRATEGY

Notwithstanding the musical training viewpoint, private music educators are promoting their services to support the business. A considerable amount of the educator’s time is restricted to lesson preparation, researching teaching methods and resources. Marketing skills are another perspective that numerous educators are absent of. Let’s briefly discuss several strategies for expanding your client base and acquiring new customers.

  1. Building a website: Establishing an online presence or showcase your work, allowing people to learn more about you
  2. Utilizing Social Media: Effective interactive tools for contacting potential customers. efficient in managing student progress photos and videos.
  3. Associate with other music professionals: Play in a band, orchestra or worship team.
  4. Advertising your services: run paid ads on social media, create youtube channels,  build rapport with students and parents to spread through word of mouth.

Perhaps you have been practicing the above, and you have realized that while it takes a lot of time, it rarely yields immediate results. Remember, it takes time and work to develop a successful music education business

LESSON PLANNING

We believe in passionate holistic music education, our A.L.I.V.E. Concept which stands for A: Attitude L: Love I: Inspiration, Integration, Interaction, Interesting V: Vision E: Environment
Most teachers already address the technical components of music. However, a comprehensive music education would also emphasize the significance of family education and character development in addition to a deeper comprehension of the art form. Our goal for our teacher preparation program is to assist students in comprehending all of its significance and relevance to their lives.

Following that, we encourage teachers to assist students in experimenting with improvisation and composition, allowing them to express themselves artistically, in addition to introducing practical exercises to assist students in acquiring technical abilities such as playing scales, rhythm patterns, or reading music sheets.

Finally, regular interaction/discussion between the tripartite connection (student, parents, teacher) is essential for effective lesson planning.Regardless of their exam scores, the fundamental purpose of effective conversation is to foster a lifetime enthusiasm for music. Attending concerts, regularly practicing, exploring new genres and instruments, and performing live are all ways to strengthen the music education in a more holistic approach.
